Retired Staff

Karamajong Kule worked for SCP from 1996 until he took early retirement in 2007. APD Jess Tombs and SCP pooled resources and provided him with a large retirement package, which he used in part to open a shop he and his son hoped to run together. Sadly, he contracted tetanus soon after his retirement and died on March 1, 2008. At left is Karamajong in 1999 when he had just finished helping Prof. Hunt install a climate station at research camp.

Eriik Katsutama came on to the project as an 18 year old in 1996 and worked side by side with Karamajong for many years. He moved on to other opportunities in 2008.
